Bangladesh Cultural Beach Tour

Our Asia Experience representative/guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Dhaka. He/She will give you a brief orientation of the tour and programs in the upcoming days here. Depending upon the arrival time, we will start our visit to some of the beautiful destinations of Dhaka. Here, we will pass by the colorful flower markets and take brief visits of Dakeswari Temple, the Parliament House of Bangladesh, and Dhaka University premises. In the evening, you can try some of the local foods and cuisine as your dinner. Overnight at your hotel in Dhaka.

We will drive to Sonargaon in the morning which is about 1- 1.5 hours of a road trip from Dhaka. Starting at the marvelous Folk art and craft museum, we will visit the highlights of the places with a boat ride in the lakes constituting it. One can also experience the complete art and cultural delights here in the Museum. Our goal next is to visit the lost Panam city next which has an old history and many great stories of existence to offer you. We will visit the Bara Sadar Bari, the resident palace of the ancient ruler Isa Khan. The Goaldi Mosque is our destination next and is one of the best surviving monuments of the medieval Bengal era. This beautiful mosque ages back to the 1519 AD. From here, we start our boat cruise in the Megna River. We will reach some of the local island villages in this cruise to experience more of the local fisherman culture. Next is our return Dhaka drive where we will resume our trip of the city. The Lalbagh Fort and the Pink Palace (Ahsan Manzil) are the places nearby for the first part of the journey. Then we can try traveling in a Rikshaw to visit the old town of Dhaka. The Armenian Church and the Ornamental star mosque are the must-visit sites here before returning to your hotel in Dhaka. Overnight at Dhaka.

We can try some of the local breakfast delicacies from the street vendors before our flight to Cox Bazaar. From this flight of about an hour, you can enjoy the view of Ganges Delta meeting the Bay of Bengal. After landing here, you can spend some time in the heavenly Sea Beach and have your lunch/ dinner (optional) constituting fresh seafood in the mermaid Beach Resort here. We will then visit the magnificent Himchari waterfall located in the Himchari NP. Here, we can do a sightseeing short hill hike and treat ourselves with the views of the blue ocean, tropical forest, and breathtaking landscape. We will take a speed boat from Cox's Bazar to the only hill island of Bangladesh, Maheshkhali next. The island is full of natural delights topped with the Adhinath temple situated in the top of a long hill. This Hindu Temple is about 600 years old and visited by only a few determined devotees. We will also visit the Ananda Myitta Buddha Temple and the colorful pagoda here. After a refreshing hike in the hill forests here, we'll return to the fishing villages in the lower regions. Try some local cuisine dominated by fish products here. Explore the Rakhain community and their culture in the coastal regions of this island. The Beaches here are less crowded, and the mangrove forest makes them even more picturesque. We will return to Cox Bazar and rest for the day at a Hotel. Overnight at Cox Bazar.

You will take a three hour of drive early today to the port city of Chittagong. The drive will be thrilling with some off-road sections too. Once in Chittagong we will go to our hotel and have some snacks there. We have many destinations in and around Chittagong which is the second most prominent city of Bangladesh after Dhaka. Our tour in Chittagong will highlight some of the must-see places one shouldn't miss in here. We will start our day visiting the Nandan Kanan Buddhist Temple. You can admire the beautiful paintings and architecture of the monastery here. The Ethnological Museum of Chittagong is our next destination which is the only Ethnological Museum of the country. The Museum displays and emphasizes the history of Tribal People in Bangladesh. From here we will continue our tour to the World war cemetery or the Chittagong War Cemetery. Made by the British army, the cemetery is established in honor of dead soldiers of World War II. Spend some peaceful time here and return to your hotel. Overnight at Chittagong.

After your breakfast, we'll visit the Chatteshwari Temple in the center of Chittagong city. The temple here was built in the 18th century to the Hindu goddess Kali, the guardian deity of Chittagong. Chatteshwari Temple is also one of the seven Hindu Shakti Peeths of Bangladesh. After the tour, we will take a return flight to Dhaka. In our spare time today, we will visit some of the other sites left in Dhaka. You can also revisit your favorite destinations, restaurants, etc. and return to your hotel. Overnight at Dhaka.

You can involve in some souvenir shopping in spare time today. We will drive you to the airport with some time before your departure flight. Return home with some beautiful memories and experiences from this wonderful tour of Bangladesh.
