Essential Information
Why did we choose the Everest Trek instead of the helicopter trip?
Trekking in the Everest region is a pleasing experience for travelers as it connects travelers both physically and emotionally. The helicopter trip is amazing but the duration is short and doesn’t allow travelers to connect deeply. We choose the Everest Trek instead of the helicopter trip for the following reasons:
Authentic Experience
Trekking in the Everest region offers an authentic experience for travelers allowing them to witness the scenic beauty and connect with the local Sherpa culture, and lifestyle.
Physical and Mental Challenges
The trek in the Everest region physically and mentally challenges travelers. Thus, it is beneficial to have good physical and mental fitness to appreciate the trek's journey. It also enhances both physical and mental health benefits.
Connection with Nature
The scenic immersion through diverse landscapes, dense forests, varied flora and fauna, and towering snow-capped peaks fosters a deep connection with nature. It allows them to understand and value nature more deeply.
Cultural Exposure
Everest region is home to the Sherpas who have unique cultures, traditions, religious practices, and lifestyles. The local Sherpa villages' excursion and interaction with the locals provide great cultural exposure to the travelers.
Longer Duration, More Memories
The trek duration is longer allowing more flexibility for travelers to complete the trek at their pace. Ultimately, it helps in creating more memories that travelers can cherish for a lifetime.
Sense of Achievement
The Everest region trekking gives a ground-level perspective of Everest, allowing travelers to feel the opulence of Everest. Also, completing the trek infuses a sense of achievement among travelers which can develop confidence and take it as a life-changing experience.
Note: We use a helicopter for rescue operations and a flight cancelation due to weather. Please remember that in case of extreme weather, even a helicopter rescue may not be possible.
How difficult is the Everest View Luxury Trek?
The Everest View Luxury Trek difficulty level is termed moderate. But, for first-time trekkers at such high altitudes, it can be challenging. The trek is rewarding despite some challenges as our package is designed to ensure the comfort of travelers.
Altitude sickness can be a big concern during the trek. So, we recommend a proper health check-up before commencing the trek. And during the trek, acclimatization rest is quintessential. Strictly follow the guide’s guidelines, drink plenty of water, and consult the guide if there are any worries.
Travelers must have good physical and mental fitness to trek at high altitudes. We recommend participating in different forms of physical exercise. For mental exercise, practice meditation, manage stress, and stay calm and positive. Eating healthy food, avoiding smoking, and drinking alcohol before the trek proves to be beneficial.
