On our second day, we are graced with some splendid Himalayan views when crossing the Dochula Pass (3102 meters) on our way to Punakha Dzong. Constructed by Ngawang Namgyal, in 1637–38, it is the second oldest and second largest dzong in Bhutan and one of its most majestic structures. A walk through terraced rice fields is also planned to Chimi Lhakhang, the famous fertility monastery that was built in 1456. The temple is significantly associated with the religious arts of Bhutan. In last day of Bhutan, you will visit the Tigers Nest Monastery, sat high up on a sheer cliff edge, it is Bhutans National treasure.
A wonderful flight over the glorious Himalayas brings us to Kathmandu, to savor the riches of The Kathmandu Valley. On arrival in Kathmandu, we spend the afternoon on visits to the famous Hindu pilgrimage cremation site of Pashupatinath and the nearby Buddhist stupa, Boudhanath.
The following day an optional early morning mountain flight to view Mount Everest is recommended. Later in the morning we visit the ancient medieval town of Bhaktapur, with its wealth of ancient temples and ornate squares. From Bhaktapur, we drive high into the hills to Nagarkot, a peaceful hill station famous for its brilliant sunrise over the mighty Himalayas.
On our return to Kathmandu, we wind up our sightseeing with visits to Patan Durbar Square, Swayambunath and Kathmandu Durbar Square. With our time in Nepal almost over, our last evening is spent with a cultural show and dinner.

Himalayan Heaven with the help of Netra
Netra, what an incredible person he is, words are not enough to describe him. If anyone planning to trip to the Himalayas and the surrounding region, Netra is the best man. Our trip was booked last-minute yet Netra organized one of the most well-planned, comprehensive, and exciting trips ever taken. It was flawless and stress-free. From cultural Kathmandu, beautiful Phewa Lake, Chitwan, and the indescribable beauty of Bhutan, Netra made sure for our satisfaction and comfort. Netra was readily available for all our queries’ responses. He also made sure to provide accommodation at sumptuous hotels and a vegan diet. We were treated like royalty at each place we stayed and all thanks to Netra. We are already planning to contact Netra for our next trip…

Amazing Bangladesh-Bhutan-Sri Lanka
Asia Experience offers tours in many Asian countries and our tour organizer Netra has explored each of the destinations. We are very pleased with Netra for perfectly planning our Bangladesh, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka tours considering our duration and budget. All 3 nations were beautiful and unique and the inclusion of UNESCO sites and National Parks in our itinerary made each day more exciting and diverse.
Delighted with the top-notch services of the hotel with a nice breakfast that exceeded our expectations. A cherry on the top is big upgrades at no extra cost along with guides occasionally providing extra meals at no extra cost. Very thoughtful of the hotel to provide a to-go box on early morning departures. Similarly, entrance fees to National Parks, temples, and historic sites were mostly covered. We loved every minute and wished we had another day or two in each country.
A nice surprise with unexpected 24-hour layovers in Bangkok and Kathmandu due to our airlines rescheduling flights for the next day (which happened twice). More pleased with the warm gesture of Netra who adjusted our itinerary at no extra cost to accommodate the change so we wouldn’t miss anything in our itinerary.
In the future, we will book through Asia Experience again when we want to explore more countries in Asia.

The Most Wonderful Private Tour of Nepal/Bhutan
We were very delighted with our private tour of Nepal/Bhutan which was the most wonderful experience we ever witnessed in two amazing countries. We were unfamiliar with Netra and his company before hiring them. Netra provided us with the the utmost level of personal service in the itinerary preparation including making frequent changes due to flight cancellations. In both countries, the team and guide were amazing. They also became friends in the process- the highest compliment we could give. Throughout the trek, Netra communicated with required updates, and all the documents/tickets were delivered well in advance of departure. Our guide Dipak in Nepal made sure of all things and went way beyond the call of duty. In beautiful Bhutan our guide took us to every place on the itinerary. One lunch restaurant in Thimpu ( Cloud 9) was amazing. It was thoughtful of Netra to arrange a spiritual experience in Bhutan which was not on the itinerary. All recommended hotels were fabulous in both countries. We could not do shopping on our first day in Nepal as numerous fine stores were closed. A final day in Kathmandu was remarkable with an equally fabulous guide Rajan and able to do some shopping for exquisite artifacts that now grace our home in Mexico. Rajan went out of his way to personally wrap our goods and take them to the shipper for us. On our last night in Nepal, Netra himself took us out for a fabulous Nepalese dinner as a compliment and for our valuable feedback to improve his service. The trip which was fairly priced was worth every dollar and much more. Overall, everything was top-notch from start to end.

Nepal Bhutan Tour- Great and humble tour assistance
I still remember the first time I called Asia Experiences for aid. It was noon here in Boston, but I didn’t realize that it would be a late night in Nepal. However, their customer case assistance was humble and took no time on my queries to visit this group of nations. I love traveling around the world, and in my many traveling stories there are some negative parts too. However, with the assistance and proper guidance of Asia experiences, I could enjoy my trip to the fullest. Mrs. Dipa was very polite and yet professional as I knew I was a handful of curious travelers who wanted a lot. In my short time here I thought I was able to know central Asia better than before with the courtesy of my amazing guides from Asia Experiences.
I suggest and approve this agency as one of the best and most straightforward companies you will find in Nepal. So better be safe than sorry, with Asia experiencing holidays.

Smooth handling of the itinerary
With so many places to see and experience in these countries, I was in doubt that if the company could catch up to it. You know how people say ‘leave it to the professionals’ well they did it and in some fashion. We had plenty of time in every destination and we could even extend that over the itinerary time too. The guide was completely experienced and knew when it was time to push. Another thing I admired about Asia Experience and especially Mr. Umesh is that he checked and communicated with us and the guide all over the trip. The guides didn’t hesitate to explain to me twice when it came to the safety and norms of some of the destinations.
I will suggest this travel company if you want to experience the countries in their authentic form.
