Our representative welcomes you at the Tribhuvan International Airport when you arrive in Kathmandu. After completing all the formalities, transfer to the hotel in a luxurious private vehicle. The first day in Kathmandu begins with sightseeing around Swayambhunath Stupa. Have breakfast and then, we head towards the stupa. This stupa is popularly known as ‘Monkey Temple’. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the Kathmandu Valley from the hilltop. In the surroundings of the Stupa, there are numerous Buddha statues, a big Vajra, small chaityas, a small museum, and monasteries. You can see many monkeys roaming around the premise. The huge spiral stupa with wisdom eyes symbol and beneath is a big white dome looks very impressive. The fragrance of butter lamps and incense creates the surrounding atmosphere more blissful.

Then, visit the Chinese Embassy to apply for the Tibet Visa with all the necessary documents. It is necessary to apply for at least three days before the Tibet visit and Kathmandu is the only International destination to go to Tibet besides China.

Have lunch and we head to Patan Durbar Square for sightseeing. One of the three durbars in the Kathmandu Valley is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The ancient King’s palace, ancient old temples, Krishna Mandir, Patan Museum, beautiful courtyards, and artistically beautiful decorations in the architecture are impressive attractions here. Take some photos and back to Kathmandu.

Next, we visit another World Heritage Site Kathmandu Durbar Square. The Durbar Square in the middle of the city offers ancient heritages of the medieval period. The ancient palaces, in the vicinity there is the living Goddess Kumari, Taleju Temple, Kal Bhairav Temple, Hanuman Dhoka Museum, and Gaddi Baithak are some major attractions. In the evening, enjoy walking and exploring the streets and trying out some foods in the food court.

We continue the Kathmandu sightseeing. After breakfast, we visit the holy Pashupatinath Temple. One of the most essential Hindu temples in Nepal is dedicated to Lord Shiva. This World Heritage Site temple is situated on the bank of the Bagmati river. In the surroundings of the temple, there is a huge statue of the Ox. Visit the small shrines and other temples, and see the Sadhus.

Not far from there is another World Heritage Site called Boudhanath. This stupa is one of the biggest stupas in Nepal. This holy stupa is of great significance to Tibetan Buddhists. Many people perform the kora ritual by circulating the big dome in a clockwise direction. In the surroundings, you can also visit other monasteries. You can hear Tibetan praying chants, and smell the fragrance of butter lamps and incense which makes the place very delightful. You can also do some souvenir shopping and explore the markets as well as enjoy Tibetan cuisine.

Have lunch and we proceed towards beautiful and ancient Bhaktapur city for sightseeing. This is also listed in the World Heritage site which is one of the best examples of architecture and well-preserved culture. The Durbar Square has several attractions such as the 55-window palace, Nyatpole Temple, Siddhi Laxmi Temple, the Golden Gate, the National Art Museum, and so on. Besides this, get an amazing view of skillful porters making pots, wood carvings, and many handicrafts goods. You can buy some goods if you wish to or like. We fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara on the scheduled flight. It takes approx. 30 minutes to reach Pokhara. Upon reaching, transfer to the hotel and rest a while. Then, explore the nearby tourist places if you reach here in the morning. Else, in the evening, we visit the happening places in Pokhara. We attend some live music or folk songs and dance performing restaurants. Enjoy the performance, food, and some quality time over there.

We wake up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise. A short drive to Sarangkot in a comfortable private vehicle. From the Sarangkot hill point, witness one of the most amazing views of the sunrise over the panoramic Annapurna ranges and Dhaulagiri. Spend some time there and then, descend and drive back to the hotel. Have breakfast and proceed to the city sightseeing. We visit some famous landmarks such as the International Mountain Museum, Seti Gorge, Gupteshower Cave, and Davis falls. Have lunch and visit the Tal Barahi Lake in the middle of the Phewa Lake. Canoeing trip: Another fun activity in the national park is canoeing. This canoeing trip takes you along the Rapti river on a canoe where you witness harmless Gharials and other aquatic creatures. After canoeing, stay at the Rapti river bank and witness several birds and enjoy the sunset view.

Visit traditional Tharu Village: In the surrounding area of the national park is the traditional Tharu village. The village is home to the Tharu natives. Later, visit this village and learn something about their culture and lifestyle.

Tharu Stick Dance and Tharu Cultural Dance: In the Tharu village, experience the unique tribal Tharu stick dance which is performed by Tharu men. After breakfast or as per the flight schedule, we fly to Lhasa from Kathmandu. During the flight, enjoy the awesome views of the Himalayan mountain ranges. After 2 hours, arrive at Lhasa Gonggar Airport. The Tibetan guide welcomes you at the airport and then, transfers you to the hotel. Since Lhasa is at a high altitude from the sea level, it is very essential to acclimatize properly to prevent altitude sickness and adjust to the surroundings. The first day in Lhasa commences with sightseeing. Early we visit the famous Potala Palace which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The former winter palace of Dalai Lama lies at an elevation of 3750m from the sea level. At present, the palace is a museum that has several Buddhist murals, thangkas, mandalas, decorated stupa tombs, and audience halls. The palace is a 13-storey building that contains over 1,000 rooms, 10,000 shrines, and approx. 200,000 statues.

Next, we explore the holy Jokhang temple in the compound of the Potala Palace. This UNESCO-listed World Heritage Site has the gold statue of Jowo Rinpoche. Tibetan Buddhists considered this place as the spiritual center. Nearby this temple is the famous Barkhor Street. The street is famous for the kora ritual (circulating act) around the sacred Jokhang Temple. Besides this, it is a favorite shopping street for Tibetan goods and original crafts.

You visit the two essential monasteries during today’s Lhasa sightseeing. First, you visit the Drepung Monastery which was founded in 1416. One of the Great three largest monasteries of the Gelug School of Tibetan Buddhism. It used to be the seat of the central government before the Potala Palace. The academic study standard here is considered high so that’s why it is popularly known as the ‘Nalanda of Tibet’

After lunch, explore the Sera Monastery which is also one of the Great three largest monasteries in Tibet. It was founded in 1419 and has Great Assembly Hall and three popular colleges i.e. the Sera Je Dratsang, the Sera Me Dratsang, and the Ngakpa Dratsang. The colorful rock painting of Buddha, three sand mandalas, and the Tibetan religious text printing house are the prime attractions. The major highlight here is the interesting monk debate in the courtyard at around 3-5 pm.
