In April, I took a three-week journey through Sikkim, Darjeeling, Nepal, Tibet, and Laos with Asia Experiences. Before departure, communication stayed clear with the company and Netra gave very good follow-up before, during and at the end of the trip. They were good at adapting the program to my individual wishes. Outside Nepal, local companies and guides are used. They also arranged for the necessary permits to visit Sikkim and Tibet. The guides were knowledgeable and skilled. Both the guides and the main office were flexible to handle minnow challenges that arose along the way. Shout out goes to Nimkit (in Sikkim) especially, as well as those leading the way through Nepal and Laos.
I had a number of fantastic experiences on the trip, both nature experiences and insights into local culture and history.
