PhaungDawOo Pagoda’s Festival is amongst the largest festival of Myanmar taking place in the premises of pristine Inle Lake. One has to be in Inle for viewing the best pieces of art and history of Burma from centuries ago. The five images of Lord Buddha (aging more than 800 years) is the center of attraction glided with solid gold. The whole area is picturesque with thousands of devotees visiting the pagoda each day in this three-week long celebration. The lake is lively with numerous floating markets providing your needs of local delights.
