Shwedagon Pagoda is one of the most beautiful pagodas in Myanmar. However, one cannot compare the beauty and glow of this majestic Pagoda during the Shwedagon Pagoda Festival in March (or late February). Beginning five days before the Full moon’s day, this festival showcases the Buddhist traditions and rituals of the Monks residing in the Pagoda. Devotees join the rituals and a wave of positive energy covers the region. These five days are also considered as one of the most sacred offerings and you can blend in the atmosphere here.
