After breakfast, you will explore the major attractions of Hanoi. Today highlights the best of northern Vietnam including the well-acclaimed Halong Bay cruise. You have a whole day planned around the major attractions of the Vietnamese capital. We will start the day in the historic Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Simply a mesmerizing monument, it is a masterpiece built with marble and granite housing the preserved body of Ho Chi Mihn or 'Uncle Ho'. A brief walk from there will take us to the beautiful One Pillar Pagoda. As the name suggests it is a highly revered Vietnamese Buddhist Temple rising on a single pillar in the center of an elegantly square shaped lotus pond. The temple of literature and the Museum of Ethnology is your next destinations from here. After lunch, you will visit the HoanKiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. Enjoy the craft of puppetry at Thang Long Water Puppet Theater before returning to your hotel.

We will take a morning flight to central Vietnam towards the beautiful Hue city. Once the capital of Vietnam, this city is an important step for getting closer to Vietnamese culture and history. Contrasting from Hanoi, you will have a quieter tour here. Nonetheless, there are magnificent citadels, royal tombs, palaces, pagodas, and temples built throughout the history waiting for you here. Visit some of the nearby attractions and take a walk in the Dong Ba market today. Rest for the day after a lively evening tour of Hue.

Our tour today will explore the major attractions of Hue City. Following breakfast, we will take a boat trip on the Perfume River with the first stop in Thien Mu Pagoda. Translated as 'the pagoda of the Celestial lady', Thien Mu Pagoda is an iconic seven-storied pagoda. It simply describes the Hue city and has aged with the city itself. After a full tour here, we will head towards the beautiful MihnMang Emperor's mausoleum. This picturesque tomb complex is packed with art and cultural references of the early 18th century. About 40 small and big monuments comprise the Minh Mang's royal tomb. We will have a late lunch in the local restaurant trying some local delicacies as well. You can try local food and visit more of the city as well as the Dong Ba market in your spare time today.

Adding to the natural components of our Indochina tour, we will drive to Hoi An via the busy roads of Danang. Driving by the Hai Van Pass, you can have an extensive view of the East Sea. As the drive is short we will have plenty of midway stops for snacks and exploration as well. We will take a brief break at the pristine Lan Co beach. Cham Museum, Marble Mountains, and East beach are other attractions on the way to Danang. We will continue further to Hoi An and explore the rest of the day. Our main destination for the day is the UNESCO World Heritage site of My Son. An hour or so of the drive will take us to the Sanctuary. The s+urroundings holding partially ruined temples and monuments give you a unique experience. The ruins are mostly from around the 11th century with some dating back to the 4th. A journey back in time, My Son sanctuary takes us to the spiritual origins of Hinduisms on the coastal Vietnam of that time and era. The tower temples and sculptures are impressive with so much more to explore and enjoy here. Restoration works have preserved what is left of this significant temple-complex in Asia. We will return back to Hoi An and explore some more there for the day.

We will take a short drive to the airport in Da Nang from Hoi An. From here we will enter Cambodia through a Flight to Siem Reap. Your local guide will pick you at the Siem Reap airport and transfer you to your hotel. Rest for the day in Siem.

Exploration in Siem Reap means diving deep into the archeological and historical destinations of Cambodia. We will start early visiting the south gate of Angkor Thom. Next, we will visit the Bayon temple followed by the Elephant Terrace. Both in the ruined temple complex of Angkor Thom, one can witness the sculptures and admire the architecture while being here. Towards the afternoon, we will head to the iconic Temple of Angkor Wat. Probably the most popular and majestic places you'll be on this tour, this world heritage site is the largest religious monument in the world. Touring around this mesmerizing complex, you will be in a world of its own. In the evening we will head towards Bakheng temple and enjoy the sunset view overlooking the distant Angkor Wat.

We will commence the day with a wonderful sunrise view from the Angkor Wat. Learning the lifestyle of monks residing here we can socialize with them and watching their prayer. After breakfast, we will continue to explore around starting from BanteaySrei. Stopping in the small villages midway, get closer to the rural way of living. We will explore this temple dedicated to Hindu god Shiva. We will also visit Ta Prohm and Takeo Temples before returning to the hotel. Try some local food in your spare time today in Siam.

We will fly to Thailand today from Cambodia. From the Siam Reap airport, it is a short flight to Bangkok. After arriving in the capital of Thailand, explore the city and try some local foods. Nightlife in Bangkok is also one to experience. Rest for the day after visiting nearby attractions.

We will start exploring Bangkok early watching the Bustling flower and vegetable markets in action. Taking a peek at the local lifestyle, we will start the tour visiting the Grand Palace. In the heart of Bangkok, this palace complex displays some of the most beautiful monuments and architecture in Asia. Near is the amazing WatPhraKaew temple. This beautiful temple also is known is as the 'Temple of Emerald Buddha' is a spiritual center for Thai people. Escaping the Hustle of the buzzing city we will take a long tail boat ride next along the canals. Explore and try some more local activities after the ride. Overnight at a hotel in Bangkok.

We will leave Thailand and fly to Kathmandu, Nepal today. After landing, our representative from Asia Experiences will receive you and transfer to your hotel. Rest for the day here. You can also take an evening walk around and enjoy the art and culture of Kathmandu.

You will start the cultural tour of Kathmandu after breakfast today. We will drive to Pashupatinath temple from the hotel. Pashupatinath temple is one of the most significant temple complex Asia. On the banks of the holy BagmatiRiver spend some spiritual time here. A short drive from here will lead us to Boudhanath Stupa. Get closer the Tibetan Buddhism in Kathmandu. After lunch, we will drive to the beautiful city of Bhaktapur. Explore the art and architecture in the Bhaktapur Durbar Square and try some Newari Cuisine while you are here. We will drive to a small hilltop town of Nagarkot from here and stay there for the night. Overnight at Nagarkot.

After a quick tea head out to the view tower in Nagarkot for a beautiful sunrise view over the Himalayas. Spending some refreshing time here take a quick stroll around Nagarkot. We will head back to Kathmandu after breakfast. A quick stop at the hotel and we will drive to Lalitpur. We'll visit Patan Durbar Square and other monuments here. The city of arts-Lalitpur is a must-be place for more unique experiences near Kathmandu.
The monkey temple or Swoyambhunath is our next destination. A brief drive will take us to the foothill of this beautiful Buddhist temple. As the name suggests the hill is resided by many monkeys and about 15 minutes of the hike will take us to the main dome. From here you can have an extensive view of Kathmandu Valley and even the Himalayas on a clear day. Towards late afternoon we will head towards Basantapur Durbar square near the hotel. This completes our tour of three major cities and their respective Durbar (Palace) squares in the valley. Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.
