Dharamshala, the winter capital of the Himachal State is also the administrative headquarters of the Kangra district, India. Situated at an altitude of 1457m, it covers an area of almost 8.51 sq. km. It is also home to the Tibetan government-in-exile. The town is a perfect combination of Tibetan and Indian cultures. In the vicinity, there are the Dhauladhar Mountains which add beauty.
