Lhuntse is the eastern part of Bhutan and shares its border with the autonomous region of Tibet. The highlights here are the three-day annual festival. Tshechu is generally celebrated in the month of November and attracts a large crowd. People who visit the Lhuntse Tshechu festival believe that they can clean their sins by watching the masked dance. The blessing is received from the relics that is displayed during the festival.
