A festival is held in Ura, Bumthang in May where a famous dance known as Ura Yakchoe is performed. A sacred relic is highlighted during the festival with the belief that people can receive the blessing.
A myth is followed by the relic that is displayed. It is said that a Monk asking for water with a woman vanished by leaving the sack and when the woman checked the sack, found the statue of Chador in it. The relic is now passed from one generation to another and is owned by the descendant of the woman.
