Buddha Dordenma Statue is one of the tallest statues of Shakyamuni Buddha in the world. Made of bronze this majestic statue in the mountains of Bhutan is also glided with pure gold. The temple premises also houses more than a hundred thousand smaller figures resembling this Statue.
Visible from anywhere in Thimphu, this statue is also a symbol of peace and the veneration of Bhutanese people to Buddhism. Under the eyes of Shakyamuni Buddha, There is Kuensel Phodrang Nature Park.
