A newly celebrated festival in the courtyard of Jakar Dzong in the valley of Bumthang. The festival is followed by several masked dances that are performed by the monks of Jakar Dzong. The locals from nearby villages offer folk songs and dances to the God and Goddess who are termed as the protector of the valleys.
This Festival is performed with the belief that it offers long life and prosperity. The participant at this festival also believes that the purgation of sins is done by attending the festival. This event that happens annually attracts large crowds from its surrounding areas as well as from other parts.
