Dochula Pass is a mountain pass amongst the snow-covered Himalayas at 3,100 meters. It is a beautiful pass with Druk Wangyal Chortens which are 108 small Chortens (stupa) dedicated to the Bhutanese soldiers who bravely lost their lives in the war against rebels from India.
There is also a beautiful Druk Wangyal Lhakhang (temple) in reminiscence of the fourth Druk Gyalpo of Bhutan. Gratify your senses with quaint Mt. Masanggang or Gangkar Puensum peak in the background. This Dochula pass lying on the road from Thimphu to Punakha is also one of the most visited places in Bhutan.
